Bastun - Baltic Sea Trade Union Network

BASTUN coordinates the participation of the network's affiliates in projects that have a social or political impact on the region.

BASTUN’s role is to act as an umbrella organisation for projects and to provide information about ongoing trade union projects in the region. The strength of BASTUN is that it collects trade unions together, unites them, and organises joint projects that would not be financially viable for individual unions acting alone.

BASTUN’s fundamental philosophy is that joint projects should reflect the network’s strategic goals, relate to the actual situation in the Baltic Sea Region and exploit BASTUN’s operational capacity in activities linked to topical issues.
